Although the general consensus is that appetite from high street banks is relatively low there are a number of government initiatives in place making commercial rates lower than they have ever been on the high street. That said mainstream lenders are not for everybody, the good news is that there are a number of challenger banks, private banks and boutique lenders that will consider your business plan and work with you to provide accessible funding. Like other specialist lending areas this type of finance sees constant changes in criteria and pricing with providers flexing their appetite according to exposure and market conditions.
